As the Technical Clerk you will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Managing technical interfaces with colleagues;
  • Creating registers of all existing hard and electronic copy documentation as required;
  • Scanning and storage (electronic and paper) of documents and maintaining accurate records;
  • Archiving documentation as required;
  • Input data into Document Database System as required in line with document management procedure;
  • Participate and input on project meetings.

You will interface with the project team by providing current technical information in a prompt manner using the tools available. You will carry out periodic audits of data entry to ensure integrity of data and locate and resolve data input errors and anomalies. Carry out documents cross reference check and ensure where necessary that duplication and obsolete material is removed.

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Experience Essential:

  • University Degree;
  • Good presentation skills;
  • Good problem solving skills;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • An impeccable eye for detail;
  • Ability to accurately follow procedures;
  • Understanding of engineering principles;
  • Tenacious: able to identify important data and seek it out;
  • Ability to interact and work with others.

Desirable

  • 1 – 2 years document management experience;
  • Chemical or oil and gas sector experience.
