Job Description:

  • Review and become familiar with the project technical requirements such as the prime contract, applicable codes, standards, and specifications 
  • Perform, as directed by supervision, various inspections, examinations, and tests to determine compliance with applicable specifications, drawings, procedures, codes, and standards 
  • Monitor/inspect project and construction execution by regular surveillance and/or inspection as directed by the Site Quality Manager or supervisor to ensure that they comply with project requirements. Issue surveillance or inspection reports to appropriate parties and follow up until closure as required 
  • Participate, when requested by the Site Quality Manager or supervisor, with the identification of nonconforming conditions and document them on nonconformance reports 
  • Review non-destructive evaluation results to verify compliance with contractual requirements (this may be delegated to a suitably qualified Construction Quality person) 
  • Ensure that documentation is being completed, signed off, and compiled as the work progresses so as to support turnover and record retention activities at the project site 
  • Maintain compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, and global standards 
  • Plan, organize, and carry out assignments as directed 
  • Adhere to and support company’s Health, Safety & Environmental and Sustainability Policies 
  • Effectively develop and apply the Core Skills to the job 
  • Meet expectations on attendance and punctuality 


  • A combination of education and directly related experience equal to seven (7) years*; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local regulations 
  • Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors 
  • Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
  •  Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines
  •  Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
  •  E&I Inspector:  E&I qualifications or equivalent, High voltage pump motors inspection, high voltage switch gear inspection, Hazardous area equipment inspection, witnessing testing, NCR, Material inspection, instrumentation inspection
  •  Piping Inspector must have experience in: CSWIP, PCN valid Level II Radiography Interpretation Certificate, Piping experience (hydro testing, punching lines, reviewing test packs), Tank fabrication etc., valid 3.1 wedling inspection certificate.
  •  QC Welding Inspector must have extensive experience in: Piping (hydro testing, punching lines, reviewing test packs), tank fabrication, equipment inspection, General QC welding all rounder, Valid 3.1 Welding Inspection Certificate, CSQWIP, Must have PCN valid level II Radiography Interpretation Certificate, High Temp Steel, Stainless Steel.
