Job Description:

  • Assist to IL TL to manage performance of freight forwarding contractor(s)
  • Understand of the local business objectives, risks associated with supply chain activities and desired outcomes
  • Support internal customers and coordination of the through flow of information is the large part of activities
  • Technical verification of supplier invoices
  • Manage all activities related to extraction of archive documents from BP’s designated storage facility
  • Provision of original customs documentation to company suppliers and controlling timely return and acting as a focal point for verification of applications
  • Provision of guidance on PSCM practices and procedures to other (less experienced) PSCM and non-PSCM staff on matters related to order expediting process. 
  • Ensure that professional and ethical business practices are followed at all times
  • Assist IL TL to monitor supplier performance by supplying required reports & other data
  • Expedit of critical orders
  • Ensure that client groups are kept informed of any significant developments
  • Technical verification of supplier invoices
  • Logging NCI.-s & raising Claims
  • Coordinate documentation traffic in and out of BP document depositary
  • Verification of applications to BP’s P&RA department for obtaining import & export permits
  • Participate in company networks, sharing information, best practices and lessons learned
  • Ensure that client requirements and schedules are met
  • Ensure that applicable laws and regulations of Azerbaijan are adequately addressed in each instance

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience relevant to International Logistics, Transport, Customs and financial operations within the oil industry is preferred.
  • Relevant Supply Chain experience with materials expediting
  • Understanding of International Trade Terms (INCOTERMS)
  • University degree; Good English language skills; Advanced level of computer skills are required
  • Awareness with oil industry tools, equipment, materials, terminology & with entire process in general.
  • Highly motivated, with the ability to deliver in a pressurised environment.
  • Strong team-working skills with the ability to work with others across the business.
