Job Description:


  • Assist CLIENT in demand planning activity which implies the collation of (6) months and (1) month and (12) months materials requirements lists related to specific asset and feed the data into the overall Materials Management (MM) demand planning report.
  • Assist CLIENT in defining and obtaining specifications, quantities and target delivery dates for programme materials Material Request’s & Desktop Requisition’s.
  • Work with the CLIENT’ Procurement Supply Chain Management Team (PSCM), communicating business needs and participating in development of commodity strategies.
  • Promote CLIENT ‘PSCM strategy and procure materials under PSCM umbrella agreements.
  • Manage and monitor the expediting process for project materials to ensure the activity planning and project execution is maintained.Liaise with contractors / suppliers to ensure the forward readiness / specification of materials / equipment. Coordinate the third party inspection services for materials (if required).
  • Attend drilling / production planning meetings.
  • Ensure that the AGTR Quality Assurance processes are followed as part of the materials mobilisation process.
  • Monitor programme OCTG (Oil Country Tubular Goods) requirements / availability including liaison with the OCTG supplier (Global Wells Organization related).
  • Ensure that all service call-offs are in place prior to the start of the programme.
  • Monitor high cost rentals to ensure that they are mobilised and demobilised efficiently.
  • Control and maintain specific installation materials to ensure availability to meet programme requirements.
  • Investigate and close out all material and equipment overage, shortage and damage occurrences related to the programme.
  • Provide all relevant support to Warehousing & Inventory Control team to ensure the Inventory Optimization agenda is delivered.
  • Performing all duties with regards to the CLIENT’s AGT and Corporate HSSE Standards, Policies and Guidelines, the health and safety of self and others who may be affected, and the environment.
  • Perform all duties to be with due regarding to CLIENT’s Policies, Guidelines and government legislation.
  • Attend all meetings required by the position subject to notice to attend and availability.



  • BaUniversity degree or equivalent
  • Professional PSCM qualification (CPSM or MCIPS or equivalent).
  • Intimate knowledge of the Oil & Gas industry and its supply base.
  • 2-4 years’ experience in Materials Management
