Job Description:

  • Organizes a set of measures to increase sales.
  • Participates in the development of the company’s sales strategy
  • Participates in the strategic planning process.
  • Provides participation of supervised division in preparation of forecasts, projects, product sales plans, conduct studies on the demand for the products, prospects the development of markets, reduction of production residues
  • Provides tactical planning work carried out by supervised divisions of the company and submit for approval to senior management.
  • Conducts daily / weekly meetings with the production tasks to the division and assigns tasks and responsibilities between them.
  • Sets taks to the division on improving sales and customer service. Sets clear and achievable objectives for employees.
  • Corrects the company’s sales plan.
  • Coordinates the management of personnel in the sales department, is involved in the selection of employees.
  • Organizes interaction of all controlled entities.
  • Negotiate with target customers.
  • Develops pricing policy of the  organization, campaigns, discounts.
  • It analyzes information from the departments of the organization and other sources.
  • Analyzes overall sales / through the channel / per employee
  • Concludes long-term contracts in accordance with company policy
  • Participates in the development and implementation of promotions, including various exhibitions and sales, tastings and other events
  • Makes suggestions to improve the work of subordinate division of higher management.
  • Represents the interests of the organization in relationship with customers.
  • Gives orders in the framework of supervised by him/her employees’ competencein the range of their responsibilities.
  • Requests and receives the necessary information and documents related to performance of Sales Director, his subordinate division.



  • The candidate should have higher education and have worked for at least three years on a similar position
  • Laws and regulations governing the conduct of business and commercial activities, sales organization and product supply;
  • Market conditions and its features;
  • Basics of marketing and management;
  • Methods of advertising campaigns;
  • The basics of office management/clerical work;
  • Principles and methods of forecasting;
  • Rules, principles and structure of sales;
  • The principles of strategic planning;
  • Characteristics of products sold;
  • Ethics of business communication;
  • Psychology of business relationships;
  • Principles, methods of personnel management;
  • Legislative acts of the Republic of Azerbaijan;
  • Company Charter, internal regulations and other normative acts of the Company;
  • Sales Manager should have very good command of Azerbaijani, Russian and English (spoken) languages
  • Driving license category "B"
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
