Job Description:

  • Contributes into the development and implementation of Regional Materials management strategies;
  • Provide support to stakeholders and 3rd party contractors with Inventory Optimization program;
  • Responsible for monitoring inventory level at all BP AGTR storerooms (incld VMI);
  • Coordinate through the use of appropriate processes and systems assuring inventory accuracy levels, control over the re order points and monitoring slow move and stock turn over;
  • Provide inventory reports through SAP and Business Objects detailing inventory usage, inventory on hand, in transit, on order;
  • Update inventory in SAP as required;
  • Manage the inventory levels for product categories through analysis of trends, exceptions, rate of purchase, min order quantities;
  • Identify and take corrective action to overcome short stock positions;
  • Identify and report consumption and monetization of excess inventory;
  • Understand the system and how to properly set replenishment parameters for new and existing stores;
  • Review SKU forecast and adjust according to demand and seasonality. Drive vendor efficiencies thru collaborative forecasting;
  • Call out materials against Blanket Purchase Agreement or generate requisitions to replenish the stock;
  • Develop, implement and manage the Master Data creation as per MMD requirements compliant to the E&P PSCM segment;
  • Create, update, and delete stock material records in Maximo system based on requests from end users;
  • Address any discrepancies in Material Master record as per Global MMD recommendation to ensure data development and maintenance remain consistent;
  • Manage capitalization process for insurance materials through finance in order to keep inventory balance accurate;
    Provide all necessary support for stock check audit at 3rd parties’ vendors;
  • Provide MM support for SOX Compliance;
  • Optimize Wells reconciliation process, to limit the manual and transaction work;
  • Participate in Clients networks, sharing information, best practices and lessons learned.


  • University degree
  • ERP software experience
  • Work experience in inventory control is strongly preferred
  • Exhibits ability to interpret and explain inventory and sales reports
  • Fluent knowledge of English language
  • Presentation and communication skills
