Job Description:

  • Manage the operations support function and administration requirements of the Company’s business in Azerbaijan; ensure application of policies and procedures for every support function.
  • Perform the role of manager of the company’s office with responsibility for supporting & servicing all of the company’s operations there.  This will encompass such issues as company registration, licenses, finance & insurances, human resources, vehicles and transport, offices, premises, workshops, tools and equipment.
  • Ensure delivery of agreed sales & performance targets, control overhead expenses and report on performance against budgets/ plans.
  • Ensure that an organization structure appropriate to servicing the operational needs is agreed, implemented and reviewed regularly.
  • Ensure coordination among the Business Support functions, develop, and lead an effective team of competent personnel.
  • Establish and maintain excellent team working relationships with employees.
  • Travel throughout the region or abroad on company business as required.  
  • Liaise closely with senior company managers and other key staff outside of the geographical region.
  • Develop and maintain excellent business relationships with the appropriate client and supplier representatives as required.
  • Assist in identifying and tracking new opportunities in conjunction with the sales and marketing team.
  • Assist in developing a clear business strategy and operating plan for the company.
  • Assist in ensuring that the strategy and direction is clearly communicated across the company, and work with senior management team to effectively communicate and execute this strategy.
  • Provide strong, decisive leadership and guidance so that the direction for the company is clearly understood, communicated and executed.
  • Embrace and develop a team culture that is energetic, has a sense of urgency, a progressive approach whilst ensuring that it is a positive, balanced, and fun working environment.
  • Enhance and develop communications, so there is a good network within the group and a strong culture of teamwork and trust.
  • Develop, manage and review the maintenance and implementation of financial controls, policies and procedures.
  • Provide leadership in the management of the Human Resources Division with the aim of ensuring that the company consistently attracts and retains the best possible talents.
  • Guide the development/review and implementation of comprehensive HR strategy, plans, policies and procedures.


  • Adherence to the procedures as laid down by the Human Resource Management System and to take an active part in the Performance Management Process and the Competence / Training Programme.
  • To be a “team player” and supporting a culture of continuous improvement.
  • To put forward suggestions for improvements and carry through agreed actions.
