  • To formulate development plans designed to ensure effective penetration of and relationship management within key customers, compile sales forecasts and deliver against these.
  • Responsible for managing Key Customer Accounts in the Region as agreed with the Regional Manager.
  • To identify and understand specific customer requirements, focus on specific opportunities, promote the company’s products and integrated service solutions and the added value benefits.
  • To understand and promote the technical features and benefits of the company’s broad product range
  • Coordinate an effective team approach to handling customer requirements and delivering the necessary responses in a timely manner.
  • Communicate with relevant internal departments to ensure accounts are services correctly
  • Maintain extensive knowledge of current market conditions
  • To develop and execute annual Azerbaijan Sale Plan and thereafter report progress against the plans on a monthly basis.
  • To complete visit reports for all Customer visits and manage, follow up on actions from these meetings.
  • To formulate weekly customer visit/call plans with clear objectives / targets and to report progress on a weekly basis.
  • Support and run necessary internal meetings to provide information and feedback.
  • Develop and secure Frame Agreements with key target customers including agreeing any Price Schedule or List Price Discount Structure with the Regional Manager and International Technical Sales Manager.
  • Responsible for developing annual sales budgets and forecasts for customers in line with the Company’s defined budget and performance monitoring processes for agreement with the Regional Manager.
  • Accountable for achieving and exceeding budget sales and profit performance targets on an on-going basis.
  • Responsible for developing customer / product / service specific sales plans & driving sales growth within targeted areas.
  • Handling major accounts and ensuring clear capture and communication of key information from these accounts and providing the proper response that this type of business requires.
  • Understanding ongoing Customer Satisfaction levels and ensure effective internal communication and action regarding opportunities to improve our delivery, quality of service and overall value for money.
  • Ensure compliance and achievement of the business KPI targets in delivery performance, customer satisfaction, enquiry to order ratios and sales drift.
  • To continually develop and maintain good customer relationships in order to maximise and increase sales revenue.
  • To take responsibility for promoting and marketing the Company’s products and services when opportunities arise and offer technical assistance when required.
  • To provide effective commercial management for the Region including reviewing / preparing sales enquiries, proposals and tenders to ensure margin discipline, monitoring costs against budget etc.
  • To provide effective contractual management for the Region through reviewing contract conditions in tenders and purchase orders, service orders and other forms of contract to identify potential contractual risks and propose mitigation measures.
  • To be fully aware of the Company’s contractual obligations to all customers and ensure services provided are in line with these agreements.
  • To promote full compliance of Hydrasun’s products within sound engineering practice and applicable legislation.
  • To provide the organisation with post-award feedback from customer in terms of bid compliance, price and key factors influencing final decision.
  • Create a detailed Customer Contact Database in accordance with the Sales & Marketing procedures.


  • To understand our competitors’ market offering and their activities within the market sectors we operate.
  • To understand our key supplier relationships, their scope of support and develop key interfacing points within their organizations.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in similar role and environment
  • Proven ability in effective customer account management and relationship development within energy sector industries
  • Experience of selling added value services
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally, with a wide range of personnel in Azeri, Russian & English
  • Ability to conduct presentations to wide ranging audiences
  • Have a flexible, “can do” approach to work
  • Ability to plan and organize workload to ensure optimum performance
  • Able to maintain drive, enthusiasm and proactive demeanor
  • An understanding of sales targets and budgets
  • Competent in the use of Word / Excel and PowerPoint
