Job Description
  • To technically maintain and repair, under control of a higher qualified motorist, of the drilling rig motor To technically maintain and repair, under control of a higher qualified motorist, of the drilling rig motor with total power of 1500 kva, diesel-electric units, fuel-oil structures, compressors, pneumatic system, transmission and electric equipment; as well as of the motors and gas turbine motors with the power of 1500 kva and higher;
  • To adjust and keep in working condition the cooling, greasing, fuel intake and gas distribution system of the power units;
  • To review diesel motors and power units; to eliminate any shortages, and to take actions to on prevention of accidents;
  • To ensure proper working condition of the motors, depending on drilling conditions and seasons of the year;
  • To check all supplies in order to ensure proper functioning, and to assist mechanic/electrician in repairing of these supplies in a due manner;
  • To put into service and test the new and overhauled motors;
  • To fill in shift logs, and to keep records of fuel-greasing materials;
  • To report about the spare parts, tools and reserves, for the purpose of protection of the equipment under responsibility;
  • To implement other necessary works as order by the supervisor;
  • If necessary, to participate in the inter-group meetings and customer participating meetings.
  • To secure oneself and colleagues during the work process;
  • To attend all company’s training courses and meetings related to safety, firefighting and evacuation;
  • To comply with the safety procedures implemented by the company;
  • To attend safety inductions and to be aware of the planned drills and relevant works;
  • To take immediate actions and report to direct supervisor on any actual and potential danger to health, safety and equipment on site;
  • To plan all works under supervision ahead of time, to evaluate risks, to inform relevant parties during pre-work meetings;
  • To perform an evaluation for the purpose of determination of the tasks implemented within the area under supervision.
  • To comply with ecological standards implemented in the company;
  • To manage and comply with the rules on wastes segregation based on Waste Management Procedure;
  • To be aware of ecological aspects related to work activities and to implement control measures.


  • Higher education;
  • Experience: at least 5 years;
  • Ability to work in a team;
  • English (Basic Level);
  • Software skills: MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Microsoft Outlook).
