To supervise all operations taking place on the drill floor and in areas under their control, ensuring that such operations are carried out efficiently and in compliance with authorized Operating Procedures and Safety Policy;
To maintain daily drilling records including accurate and effective handovers;
To observe and monitor well conditions through drilling parameters. In the event of downhole problems, take appropriate action;
To provide advice and guidance to personnel under their authority on all operational matters as required and to supervise specific employees until sufficiently experienced;
To direct the personnel under their authority in the practical steps to ensure that all working places are maintained in a clean, tidy and safe condition and all working practices employed are safe;
To ensure that health and safety at work and accident prevention are continuously brought to the attention of employees under their authority by means of job supervision, instruction and training;
To pressure test well control equipment at appropriate stages during drilling to Platform standards. Record and store test results;
To evaluate all work to be carried out to the requirements of the Permit-to-Work System, Initiate Permits-to-Work System as necessary and ensure that all precautions are taken and work is only carried out as stated in the Permit-to-Work;
To be responsible for the supervision of personnel engaged in activities in their area of responsibility or for which they have been allocated responsibility by their supervisor;
To be responsible for the performance management of the personnel under their authority to ensure standards of behaviour and performance expected by the Company;
To complete any other reasonable tasks as delegated by Line Supervisor;
To attend onshore or offshore meetings and additional trainings, as required.
To secure oneself and colleagues during the work process;
To attend all company’s training courses and meetings related to safety, firefighting and evacuation;
To comply with the safety procedures implemented by the company;
To attend safety inductions and to be aware of the planned drills and relevant works;
To take immediate actions and report to direct supervisor on any actual and potential danger to health, safety and equipment on site;
To inform relevant parties during pre-work meetings;
To perform an evaluation for the purpose of determination of the tasks implemented within the area under supervision.
To comply with ecological standards implemented in the company;
To manage and comply with the rules on wastes segregation based on Waste Management Procedure;
To be aware of ecological aspects related to work activities and to implement control measures.
Experience: at least 5 years;
Ability to work in a team;
English (Intermediate Level);
Software skills: MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Microsoft Outlook).
