Senior System Engineer

Job Description
  • Responsible for the operation of a 7/24 internal IT system,
  • Responsible for high level analysis, diagnosis and problem solving, qualifying the product fit and defining support needs,
  • Manages services; hardware, operating systems and databases,
    • Windows 8.1 and over, Windows Server 2008-2012
    • Microsoft SQL Server
    • VMware vSphere / VCenter
    • CentOS / Red Hat Enterprise Linux
    • Backup devices and software; Tape Library / SAN Storage
  • Administrates Network by maintaining LAN and WAN availability and security,
    • Cisco Networks (Core and floor switches, firewall, AP etc.)
    • Cisco Voice (Voice Gateway, Call Manager (CM), Call Center(CCX), Telepresence systems) is a plus
  • Supports Microsoft platform;
    • Windows Server 2008 - 2012
    • Microsoft Exchange 2010 – 2013
    • Lync 2010, 2013 - Skype for Business
    • Microsoft Office
  • Manages end user PC environment and provide support services,
  • Manages new installations and updates effectively and on time,
  • Controls continuously hardware, software and network equipment, makes reports any failures and takes corrective actions,
  • Makes necessary planning, corresponding and documentation for IT Systems,
  • Plans and manages upgrade, installation and operations when necessary,
  • Updates and revises the documents and procedures,
  • Follows up new technologies and offers suitable solutions to be implemented,
  • Manages implementation of accepted solutions/projects.
  • Trainings/Certificates :
    • MCSA or MCSE (is a plus)
    • CCNA or CCNP (is a plus)
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree (in the relevant field of study is a plus)
  • Minimum of 5 years System Engineer experience in a corporate environment
  • Proficiency in English and Azerbaijani languages: both verbal and written
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
