Mechanical Engineer
Job Responsibilities:
Support day-to-day activities covering equipment dismantling, overhaul, repair or refurbishment, reassembly, and testing.

The role includes:
§ Working to pre-defined procedures in line with established work practices.
§ Assisting in reworking, repairing and modifying non-conforming equipment.
§ Undertaking general workshop such as removal and reinstallation of mechanical seals, alignment of rotating equipment, and taking precision measurements.
§ Reading and interpreting engineering drawings of various parts to ensure correct tolerance and fits are maintained.
§ Completing relevant paperwork.
§ Adhering to quality and HSE rules, procedures, and other requirements
§ Knowledge on the working principles and repair practices of rotating and static equipment such as pumps, compressors, turbines, valves, heat exchangers, and ancillaries.

Candidate requirements:
Good English skills, spoken and written.
Ability to read, assess and prepare engineering drawings and technical documents.
Ability to use precision mechanical measurement tools (e.g., calipers).
Minimum 3 years’ experience in the maintenance of mechanical equipment rotating and static equipment.
Offshore experience (preferable).
Engineering and degree level education in the mechanical discipline.
Mechanical seals (installation and repair).
Vibration analysis and laser alignment.
Root cause analysis training or other investigation tools.
