- Prepares intermediate level CAD detail and assembly drawings from layout, sketches, mark-up prints and other reference materials.
- Confers with engineers and other subject matter experts to interpret design concepts, determine nature and to determine the type of required detailed working drawings.
- Draws plan and elevation views, sections and details of part/structures.
- Prepares detail drawings. Determines most appropriate views, detail drawings and supplementary information needed to complete assignments. Draws various views, sections and details.
- Reviews own work and may review work of less experienced drafting team members to ensure comprehensive dimensional data for engineering or fabrication purposes.
- Reviews for accuracy, completeness, and conformance to drafting, applicable design, component weights and systems standards.
- Modifies existing drawings and modifies required system documentation.
- Learns to calculate requirements to ensure proper assembly fit accordingly to design requirement defined by Engineers.
- Prepares CAD assembly drawings to verify adequate assembly fit and function.
- Performs administrative and related responsibilities such as transferring drawings from computer to hardcopy.
· Performing on-site project surveys if necessary to establish client requirements, produce layout drawings and material take offs based on those drawings if necessary.
· Preparation of Cable calculations, Electrical and design, Cable Schedules, MTOS and scope of works
· Preparation of technical documentation required for tenders and proposals.
· Preparation of construction work packs including GOC Documentation.
· Ensuring Testing Certificates and as built documentation is completed and recorded for individual projects.
· Review of and checking of technical documentation required for tenders and proposals prior to sending to client.
