Has sufficient knowledge and experience on a wide range of work activities and equipment
Experience
Minimum 3 years’ experience in the overhaul and repair of electric motors and electrical apparatus
Motor and machinery disassembly and assembly experience
Education
High school education with a focus on science OR a Technical and Certificate level education in the electrical discipline
Knowledge
Technical awareness
Knowledge of electrical concepts
Knowledge of electrical measurement functions
Basic knowledge in a range of ATEX equipment
Training
Electronic & Electrical Testing Methods (Megger, Surge Tester, Voltmeter, Ammeter, etc)
Circuit Inspection & Fault Finding
Measurement Instruments
Vibration Analysis Equipment
Laser Alignment Equipment
Balancing Equipment
Overhead Crane
Skills
Basic English skills, spoken and written
Computer skills in MS Word and MS Excel
Ability to read and assess specifications, drawings, and other technical documents
Skilled in the use of electrical measurement and diagnostic tools
